Some people will go to great lengths to get kids to read. I just read an article from Yuka Yoneda that details a sign set up in New York by the Target corporation. The sign is a single word, “Read,” made from 25,000 Dr. Seuss books. Dr. Seuss is one of the most iconic authors of children’s books and is one of the best places to start teaching a child to read. My niece and I love to read The Cat in the Hat when she comes to visit.
