Everyone knows how intregal music is to life. We define our lives by the music we listen to. Everyone remembers the song they danced their first slow dance, what was playing on the radio when you got to kiss for the first time, etc. Well, Malcolm Ritter is reporting that a new study shows the reason is similar to sex and eating. The brain releases a chemical that is pleasurable to the body when listening to music. Now, I have to ask, what does that do for us? Does it make the music even better? Does it make our lives better? Who actually commissions these types of studies?
