Babies grow so quickly and their clothes tend to accumulate and cause clutter. Don’t get rid of outgrown baby clothing though, there are many ways to get years of use out of them.
In the first year of a baby’s life, the rate at which they grow seems to be expedited. Parents often find that they are shopping for new outfits every few months, unless they have purposely bought clothes that are a size bigger for their child. However, even the baby clothing that has been worn in that first year are still in usable condition because they are often not worn out at all. You can make good use of these baby clothes instead of feeling the frustration of not knowing what to do with the baby clothing that has suddenly accumulated and has taken up much too much space.
If you hope to have more than one baby, than by all means, keep outgrown baby clothing in storage! Keeping clothes for younger siblings is a sure-fire way to save money. An expanding family means an expanding budget. This works especially well with baby clothing because most baby clothing consists of all in ones, sleepers, undershirts and booties or socks.
To store them properly, keep your baby’s clothes in zip-lock bags and label them according to their age groups. You may specify the appropriate seasons for wearing them too, if you are living in an area that experiences the four seasons. By storing the baby clothing in this fashion, you can be assured the clothes will remain clean and in order for easy access when the next baby comes along. Place the zip lock bags into a plastic box and label that box too, just for easy reference.
If you do not plan to have more children, lend or give the baby clothing away to family or friends. This is greatly appreciated by siblings, close relatives, friends or colleagues who find themselves needing to buy baby clothing. You can help alleviate their financial burden! Always make sure you ask if they would like hand-me-downs. Most parents love receiving them but there are those who are particular about buying new baby clothing for their own babies.
If you do not know anyone who needs baby clothing, donate what you have to charity. Unfortunately, the orphan population is growing exponentially around the world. An easy way to find out where to take the baby clothing is to run a Google search for orphanages and adoption agencies. Donating to the nearby orphanage or shelter for single mothers is a wonderful act of charity.
If you have the time and you can sell them as second hand clothes. This is a good way to earn some return on the beautiful baby clothing you purchased for your growing child. You can opt to sell clothes online through eBay or other second hand exchange sites. You can even set up your own personal site and manage your second hand store from your own home. If you don’t have time to sell clothes online, check your area for second hand stores. Selling them to these types of stores is also a possibility.

Golf is a fun and relaxing game that anyone can learn to play. If you know the rules and you have a good set of clubs, like maybe a set of adams golf drivers, you’re in for an enjoyable afternoon!
The game of golf is played on a huge, grass-covered area known as a golf course. The course is either a nine-hole or an eighteen-hole playing field. Many beginners prefer to start with a nine-hole golf course. Some people prefer to go right for the 18 hole golf courses but really, if you’re a beginner, 18 holes could make for a very very long day!
Each player needs the necessary equipment to play the game. You need a set of playing clubs, balls, shoes, tees, and of course a nice golf bag to put everything into. Once you have the necessary equipment, you must attempt to hit a golf ball into successive holes, which are located on the course.
You need to start at the teeing area. Place a tee straight into the ground and then place a golf ball on top of it. Once the ball is set on the tee, swing your club and hit the ball. The goal is to get the ball into the first hole on the course. It’s ideal to get the ball in the hole on the first try but that is near impossible, especially for a beginner. Score is kept in the game of golf by how many strokes it takes to hit the ball into every hole. The least number of strokes wins the game!
Now, it’s difficult enough to hit a small white ball into a hole, but to make the game more interesting, there are all kinds of obstacles on and around a course, making a hole in one even more difficult to obtain.. There are bodies of water, trees, shrubs, sand-filled traps, and roughs. When your ball winds up in an area like this, you absolutely cannot touch the ground or the water with your club. If you decide not to play your golf ball, but then you must add a penalty stroke to your total score.
What if you hit your golf ball out of bounds or it gets lost? Here is the basic rule for that: A ball is considered to be lost if is not found within five minutes. If your golf ball is lost or out of bounds, you must add a penalty stroke to your score and replay your last shot.
People of different playing levels will swear up and down that their way is best – but really, their is no right way to play golf. You need to have the proper equipment, know the basic rules and then just practice, practice, practice.
Many players swear the golf equipment, such as adams golf drivers, can make for a better game. Every game has to have some sort of scoring system, and golf is no exception.
These are the basics of the game of golf. Of course, the right equipment and lots of practice is what will make you good at the game!

Indoor gardening is not only possible, it can be fun as well. Using grow lights to grow the basic herb garden would give you access to fresh herbs all year.
Many people find that their biggest challenge to have a successful indoor garden is their location. If you live in an area – or a building, for that matter, that doesn’t receive an abundant amount of light, you may feel it is impossible to garden indoors successfully. Never fear, where there is a will, there is a way!
For growing herbs indoors, it seems that fluorescent lighting is probably the best bet. There are other types of lighting systems that include; high-intensity discharge and incandescent lighting. However, if you live in a small area and plan on a garden that is not too large, you will want to use grow lights that do not take up too much room but also do an excellent job in giving the seedlings a good start. One of the advantages of using fluorescent grow lights is that they release less heat making it a safer method. One important piece of information, initially, it is best to place your seedlings in a warm place. Most people choose to start their herb garden in a room that is usually warm. A laundry room is a good room to use. If you don’t have a laundry room, use the room of the house that receives the most sun. Even if you don’t receive direct sunlight in that particular room, if the sun beats down on a certain part of your house or apartment, that room should be the warmest room in your living spaced. When the seeds sprout you gradually increase the amount of light they get. This method works best; at least it has in my experience.
Fluorescent lighting is ideal for small gardening projects. The light given off from fluorescent bulbs can be as much as three times the intensity of incandescent lighting. It may take some trial and error on your part, to determine how to use grow lights to their best advantage. As with anything, having a good plan before you purchase them and exploring all the possibilities they offer is the best idea.
To find the appropriate grow lights for herb garden seedlings, you need to know that a successful basic herb garden, or any gardening project for that matter, should receive anywhere from around 1500 to 3000 lumens per square feet. If you start your garden indoors, you won’t have the advantage of the naturally high lumens put out directly by the sun.
Once you know how to use grow lights, the rest of the process is easy and lots of fun. Knowing the herbs you want to grow, planting the seeds, and preparing for an abundant supply of fresh herbs throughout the year is definitely rewarding.

Buying children’s clothing as a gift can be difficult, especially if you’re buying for children whom you don’t see very often. Here are some ways to find the correct clothing size.
Whether you’re shopping for trendy and hip childrens clothing or a practical gift like a new winter coat, getting the right size is very important. Knowing the right size is key to making sure that your gift will be well received.
The most obvious way to make sure you buy an outfit in the correct size is to ask mom or dad. When shopping for childrens clothing, it’s always a good idea to ask the parents about sizes. While this may be the best way to find out, you may not always get a straight answer. Many times size varies slightly, depending on the brand name You may very well get responses such as; “Usually she wears a 6 in pants, if they have an adjustable waistband, if not, she wears a 5, but it has to be a long 5. With her tops, she can usually fit into a 6 or 6X, sometimes a 7, but she does have a few that are size 8 and they seem to fit good.”
While you may not always get an easy, straightforward answer, at least you now have an idea about the sizes to consider. You could go a step further and ask for measurements. Waist, arm length, leg length and the width of shoulders are good measurements to ask for. There is no need to have measurements for chest and hips, as they’re not usually needed for childrens clothing.
You could ask the experts, the salespeople. While a store salesperson is not going to know what size would absolutely fit the child you are buying for, they will know whether their clothing runs large, small or true to size. Use the measurements, if you have asked for them, to see which sizes will fit best. Remember to allow for shrinkage in all cotton garments. Also, keep in mind that children grow quickly, so allow for some extra room. One important detail to keep in mind; unless you know the size and brand exactly, don’t purchase pants and dresses as choosing something even a little too big or too small can make these garments unusable.
The time of year you buy in versus the season the outfit you purchased can be worn in makes a big difference. There are lots of great sales going on out of season. If you’re buying out of season, the right childrens clothing size to chose would be a size or two larger than what they’re wearing now.
If you still don’t feel confident that you are buying the correct size, the best option is to buy something that can be exchanged. Buy from a store that has locations in the recipient’s town. Most national chain stores will usually issue a gift receipt so the clothing can easily be exchanged for the right size. If you order gifts from the Internet, make sure you order from a site where returns and exchanges can be made from anywhere. Always check the company’s return policy before making a purchase, especially if it’s an expensive item.

Aromatherapy is the use of volatile plant oils, including essential oils, for psychological and physical well-being. Fragrance lamp oils can be made from the essential oils used in aromatherapy.
A bit of history; How Did Aromatherapy Get Its Name?
During the earlier part of the 20th century, a French chemist by the name of René-Maurice Gattefossé became interested in essential oils for their medicinal properties. Previously, he focused on the aromatic use of essential oils in perfumery application, but his interest in their therapeutic use grew after an accident heightened his curiosity. While working, he burned his arm rather badly. By reflex, he plunged his burned arm into the closest liquid, which happened to be a large container of lavender essential oil. The burn he suffered healed quickly and left no scar. He attributed his remarkable healing to the Lavender Essential Oil, and that lead to his ongoing study of essential oils. It is Gattefossé that is credited with coining the term aromatherapy in 1928
The aroma of a natural essential oil stimulates the brain to trigger a reaction and when inhaled into the lungs, the natural component (naturally occurring chemicals) can supply therapeutic benefits. For example, diffusing eucalyptus essential oil will help ease congestion. While physical and emotional well being is a major benefit of using essential oils, there are other common uses as well.
Essential oils can be used in household and laundry cleaners. Some oils act as a natural insect repellent and pesticide. In the summer, many people tend to use citronella candles to keep mosquitoes away. Citronella essential oil is the ingredient in the candles that is responsible for repelling the mosquitoes.
More and more people are turning to essential oils for room freshening or just household freshening in general. It’s becoming very popular to use fragrance lamp oils and diffusers these days. Diffusion is the process of dispersing essential oils so that their aroma fills a room or an area with the natural fragrance. There are many different methods that exist for diffusing oils into a room. Three easy methods can be done with things you probably already have in your house. In addition, there are numerous diffusers and diffusing devices available for purchase from aromatherapy vendors and companies who provide diffusers, fragrance lamps, fragrance lamp oils and other fragrance lamp accessories.
When shopping around for fragrance lamp oil, you will find not only essential oils but also oils that have sentimental scents. Certain scents can bring back a feeling or a memory and because of that, people love to smell that scent over and over again. That in itself can be a form of therapy!
Author K. Green has been studying aromatherapy and uses fragrance lamp oil and reed diffusers on a regular basis.
